Transformational leadership style means that someone’s ability leader for
realized the mission pushes member for to do learning and able to provide
inspiration and motivation to subordinate. This study aims to identify and analyze
the tranformational leadership style State High School (SMA) 3 Pekanbaru.
This research used is the research method with qualitative descriptive that is
presentation of interview and observation result. And collection data technic that
done with observation, interview, and documentation. The teory used by Endah
Mujiasih and Sutrisno Hadi in book (Khairul Umam;2012:302) explain that a
leader transform his subordinate through four indicators that is Charismatic,
Inspirational, Intellectual, Stimulation and individual attention. The focus of this
research is State High School (SMA) 3 Pekanbaru.
The results of research from Tranformational Leadership Style State High
School (SMA) 3 Pekanbaru it can be cocluded that headmaster as leader has
carried out all work activities in accordance with applicable regulations, but
employee development do not given to the maximum in State High School (SMA)
3 Pekanbaru.
