Abstract: The purpose of this article is to give an overview of how to take an advantage of using facebook in
applying the methodology of Task- Based Instruction (TBI) to teach writing to EFL learners in order to
stimulate them create written texts. To address the topic, the article is arranged in the following way: (a)
defining task, (b) the methodology of task- based instruction, (c) how to use facebook in applying TBI to teach
writing.
