: This study was conducted to describe the suitability of the material
presented Plantae teacher in the classroom with the material demands of KD in terms
of breadth and depth, the order of the material, the suitability of the material with
indicators and ketersampaian material on the national exam (UN) in the learning
process and the implications tehadap UN. The method used is descriptive method.
Subjects were six of six high school biology teacher in Bandung N sampled from
three different schools cluster. The determination made by the school as a sample
stratified cluster random sampling technique. Data obtained by observation,
documentation and questionnaire study. The results showed the average suitability of
the material demands of KD is based on the breadth aspects, namely 91.3%, 68.2%
depth, the suitability of the material order of 62.4%. While, achievement on to the UN
in the learning process, namely 87.5%. The discrepancy between the material at the
UN about the material presented by the teacher in the classroom, it is feared will
affect the level of student mastery of the UN.
