This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the addition of sawdust in
composting fertilizer. This research was conducted in the greenhouse of Fakultas pertanianLancang Kuning University which was conducted in July-august 2013. The completely
randomized design (CRD) was used in this story, consisting of 4 treatments with 3 replication
in different dosage. The parameters measured were composting temperature, composting
fermentation time length, composting humidity, composting acidity followed by negatif
grouwth test of green bean plant. The data’s were analized by using one-way ANOVA test
and further test by (DMRT) at the sig level of 1%. Based on the result, it was shown that the
addition of sawdust in composting fertilizer did not affected the growth of vegetative green
bean (Vigna radiata L).
