production area of PT. Kencana Sawit Indonesia (KSI), South Solok was conducted in
September to October 2012. The research was conducted by non-destructive sampling

the data in the form of carbon from living biomass and dead organic matter, and CO2
uptake by trees. Results showed above-ground carbon stocks in Bukit Tangah Pulau
forest are included in the high category by the number of 63572.85 tons, and the amount
of CO2 uptake by trees amounted to 222,469.55 tons.
