Has conducted research aimed to determine the effect of Anadara
granosa shells powder on peatland water clarity in Bagan Siapiapi. This research
was conducted at the Laboratory of Biology Faculty of Teacher Education in the
month of June 2014 UNILAK. Study was a true experiment, with designs completely
randomized design consisting of four treatments and one control with five
replications. Analysis of the data using One-Way ANOVA test, because the data were
normally distributed and homogeneous, and Duncan test significant at 1% level. The
results obtained in this study is the highest level of clarity on A4 (60g/250ml) with a
mean level of 1.5 NTU turbidity and continued with the A3 (45g/250ml) with a mean
level of 2.4 NTU turbidity, A2 (30g/250ml) with the average level of 3.5 NTU
turbidity and A1 (15g/250ml) with a mean level of 4.4 NTU turbidity. Results of
ANOVA and Duncan's test showed significantly different data. Based on these results
it can be concluded that there are significant Anadara granosa shells powder on
peatland water clarity.
