This community empowerment program aims to strengthen youth participation in applying solar energy and Internet of Things (IoT) systems for village infrastructure improvement. The program was implemented in Barengkok Village, Bogor, through structured training and hands-on practice for members of Karang Taruna. A pretest–posttest assessment was used to measure knowledge improvement, while observations and reflections were used to capture behavioral and attitudinal changes. Results showed that the average pretest score of 2.68 increased to 3.03 after the training, indicating a 13.1% improvement. Reflection responses revealed high acceptance, where 83% of participants agreed that the program increased understanding, 78% felt confident to explain the technology to others, and 80% expressed willingness to support system maintenance. This program demonstrates that capacity building for youth plays a significant role in supporting sustainable energy adoption and IoT implementation as a practical model for smart village development.
