Organic waste in school environments is often unmanaged, including at SMA Budi Luhur Pekanbaru, where dry leaves and canteen food residues are still discarded, buried, or burned. This community service program aimed to improve the environmental literacy, practical skills, and motivation of school members in converting organic waste into liquid organic fertilizer (POC). The activity involved 30 participants consisting of students, teachers, and education staff. The method consisted of initial observation, partner coordination, material preparation, training, demonstration, hands-on practice, and evaluation using structured pretest, posttest, observation, and participant response questionnaires. The results showed a clear increase in participants' knowledge and readiness. Before the training, only 10-15% of participants understood POC, its benefits, and its production procedure. After the training, 85% understood the POC concept, 90% understood the production procedure and benefits, and 90% were motivated to apply organic waste processing at school or home. Participant satisfaction reached 95%. These findings indicate that participatory POC training is effective as a practical strategy to strengthen school-based organic waste management.
